Alma Molina was born in Mexico, where she received her BA in Graphic Design. In 2004, she obtained an MFA in Graphic Design from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. Her graduate work at IU reflects a deep interest in the artist book as a compelling vehicle for communication and a medium for creative expression and design exploration. While at IU, Jazibe also served as an Associate Instructor and later as an Adjunct Instructor for a sophomore Graphic Design course—experiences that laid the foundation for an interest in education.
After nearly seven years living in Switzerland with her husband and daughter, in 2013 she relocated with her family to Texas, where she continued to work as a freelance designer. In addition to her professional work, Alma has been actively involved in her local school community, dedicating extensive time to volunteering and serving on the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). Her commitment has included organizing and executing a variety of events and fundraisers, and collaborating with diverse groups of parents, educators, and community members. Through these efforts, she has helped foster a strong, connected, and supportive educational environment.
